Use: Agar medium used for the detection and enumeration of microorganisms, specifically Fungi, on the surface of sanitary containers, equipment, and surfaces.

Description: Sabouraud Dextrose Agar is an agar medium recommended for the isolation, cultivation, and identification of non-pathogenic and pathogenic fungi. The addition of lecithin is used to neutralize quaternary ammonium compounds. Tween 80 inactivates phenolic disinfectants, hexachlorophene, and formalin.
