Use: Peptone C (Casein Digest Peptone) is used in preparing microbiological culture media.

Description: Peptone C is an enzymatic digest of protein. It contains nitrogen in a form that is readily available for bacterial growth. It has a high peptone and amino acids content, only a small quantity of proteoses, and more complex nitrogenous constituents.
